The bottom level based on the local software-hardware complexes "Avtonit" (LSHC). The every LSHC provides the independent functioning of the technological unit or group equipment according to the latest instructions, received from upper level. Local SHC and automated workplaces within the upper level are united by a network of the data transmission which is executed on object territory by the fiber-optical communication lines (FOCL). Reliability of SHC is provided with the hardware redundancy and self-diagnostics of software. In according to importance and emergency danger of the management object, LLC Autonit offers the following variants of SHC, different on structure and level of redundance:

Local software-hardware complex "Avtonit" based on the triple redundant structure with the dupplicated control for every of three channel. Triple redundant Data processing Unit (DPU) implement the logic of process algorithms, such as start, normal stop, and emergency stop algorithms, and control, regulation, and monitoring algorithms, that are stored in a non-volatile reprogrammable storage device. The information exchange with terminal units and control commands implemented using LAN Profibus (12 Mbps). Operability of the local SHC is preserved under any single failure of any channel or unit, that allows you to replace the failed element "on the move", without stopping of process equipment. Connection of external devices on the standard or specialised consecutive interface (for example RS485/RS232) is possible. Intellectual peripheral modules (ADC, tachometres, controllers of discrete interface - CDI modules, modules of analogue and pulse management) are connected directly to channel Profibus (each module is connected with two channels). Each module of discrete input-output of each channel is connected at the"own" module CDI. The size of all modules 6U.
The Data processing Unit uses advanced industrial-version of PC-compatible controllers, ensuring the required technical characteristics and functional abilities of SHC, with high reliability perfomances. All of the SHC's peripheral modules use multipurpose microcontrollers - that are user-friendly, highly reliable and optimal in terms of "price-quality" ratio. These microcontrollers have a high capacity, developed system of commands, and ample hardware resources. The using of Profibus intersystem allows to extend the SHC's functions by connecting necessary devices of other known manufacturers.
External cables are connected to the cabinet's terminal boxes, which have built-in converters of input signals into the unified input signals of local SHC. These converters are preset according to the order specification for a particular design version of local SHC. The quantity and the nomenclature of functional modules, as well as the ways to improve reliability (redundancy) are determined by the requirements of a particular object. Besides, depending on these requirements can be realised both duplicated, and non-redundant variant.
